A 38-year-old Vice Principal from Ventura killed in accident

A Ventura County assistant principal was struck and killed while jogging earlier this month on South Victoria Avenue. The accident occurred at approximately 6:50 a.m. on a Sunday morning. A 23-year-old driver was arrested for driving while under the influence of drugs and vehicular manslaughter. He was released on $50,000 bond while awaiting an appearance in court. The assistant principal was 38-years-old and worked at the DeAnza Academy of Technology and Arts. Fatal motorcycle crash takes life of off-duty law enforcement official

California truck accident results in injuries to 3 workers

An accident at a California highway construction site resulted in injuries to three workers. According to a California Highway Patrol officer, a big-rig truck struck a 20-foot long board that apparently had swung out into traffic. Settlement approved for cyclist injured in pothole accident

A city in California has agreed to pay $3.25 million to a person who was injured while riding her bicycle down a local street.
